- Springfields College, co-founded by the late Smt. Leela Jetly and her son, Shri Vipin Jetly, is run and administered by the 'Springfields Educational Society, Moradabad'. Belonging to a family with an intellectual bent of mind and realising the paramount importance of education in the life of human beings, the mother and son duo started this institution as 'Springfields School'.
- Springfields College was the first initiative of the Society. It was completely housed in their residence situated in the suburbs of Moradabad. The school had just 120 students in the year of its inception. But the sheer hard work and the high standards of the late Smt. Leela Jetly brought the fledgling school the necessary recognition and it kept on growing steadily.
- The school got affiliated to the 'Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi' in 1993. The school came to be known as 'Springfields College' from 1999 onwards soon after it was upgraded by the Council to the Senior Secondary (10+2) level.
